It has been shown that the efficiency at high concentrations is significantly limited by series resistance losses in the emitter of the top cell and shading losses through the metal fingers. In order to achieve the highest efficiencies, both losses must be minimized. For this purpose, e.g. the sheet resistance of the uppermost sub-cell is further analysed and optimized.
